about Guesthouse KINGYOYA

Kingyoya is the small guesthouse which renovated the old traditional Japanese house in Nishijin, Kyoto Japan. You can enjoy traditional Japanese breakfast for your stay. You can also choose to stay without breakfast with cheap price.

You will find Japanese culture all over Kingyoya such as kichen in outside, well, inner garden which you can feel Japanse seasons and old storehouse.

Nishijin area is full of appealing culture of Japan.
Kingyoya is easy to access Golden Temple, Daitoku-ji, Ryuan-ji, Kitanotenmangu, Imamiya shirine which is famous sights in Kyoto.
We also reccomend you to visit Funaoka-Onsen (most famous pablic bath), Funaoka park, Kamishitike(Maiko place) and Jofukuji Street (stone path) which is close from Kingyoya.

stay with traditional breakfast:JPY3200~. stay without breakfast:JPY2500~.
You can choose 3 types of private rooms or dormitory (separated rooms for female and male)

about RESERVATION

We accept your reservation 4 month before your stay.

After we received your reservation form, we will contact you within 1-2 days with tentative reservation details.
It will be confirmed after your reply.

Please call us if your stay is close within 3 days.
Also, we are sometimes not able to prepare food if your reservation is close to your stay.

We limit your reservation as maximum 6 people in a group and less than 14 nights.
Kids under 10 years can not stay in dormitory.

＜cancel charge＞
We charge cancellation fees if you cancel the fixed reservation within 1 week you stay.
before 1 week−3 days :20%,　　before 2−1 days:50%,　　on the day:100%

• Check in:16：00-21：00
  We can keep your baggage if you arrive earlier.(after 8:00)
  We are sometimes closed between 12:00-14:00.
  Check out:8：00-11：00
  You can leave your baggage till 21:00 pm.

• Internet is free with computer at free space.
  wireless WIFI is available, too. Please ask password at front desk.

• There is no TV at the common space and rooms.

• Washing machine:JPY 200 Dry space without roof

  Bath tab use is chargeable : JPY300.
  Please visit Funaoka-onsen (public bath) which takes 2 minutes walk.

KINGYOYA is guesthouse ryokan which renovated old traditional Japanese house.
Share bathroom and toilet with other guests.
You might hear noise of other guests because walls is not sound proof and we use FUSUMA, Japanse paper door for partitions.
